TEMPORARY HARDNESS REDUCTION
PROFINE® VIOLET is ideal for removing temporary water hardness. The final filtration stage uses “Profine® Carbon Block” technology with silver ions, resulting in a filtration rate of 0.5 μm. If the cartridge is used in food-related equipment, the entire system must meet the European requirements set out in Community Directive 178/2002.

CARBONATE REDUCTION WITH PH CONTROL AND MICROFILTRATION
BIG PROFINE® VIOLET is part of a wide range of Profine® products, tested and designed to meet every need. It is ideal for use with automatic beverage dispensers, coffee machines, steam ovens, and combi ovens.
The cartridge must be mounted vertically. Use 3/8" female connections with a flat gasket.
AIR CONDITIONING VALVE
The water filter activation process includes an initial phase called Conditioning. Conditioning is the initial rinsing process of the filter, necessary to bring it into ideal operating conditions. This initial rinse ensures complete cleanliness of all the filter media inside and the circuit itself. Conditioning should only be performed during the first activation of the cartridge. This operation can last from a few seconds to a few minutes. It is recommended to perform it even after the filter has been inactive for extended periods. Instructions on how many liters to dispense for proper conditioning can be found in the product data sheets.

We recommend replacing the filters at the end of their rated lifespan, or if the outflow is too slow. Filters must be replaced within 365 days of installation. Before removing the filters, close the upstream water inlet and relieve the circuit pressure by opening the tap. To properly activate the filters, open the inlet valve and let water flow for at least five minutes before using it for drinking.
