Polyphosphate powder, 500g jar

---------------------------------------------------------------

Proportional anti-scale dispenser for boilers

The proportional polyphosphate dispenser in ready-to-use or powder form dosaplus is designed for the anti-scale and anti-corrosion treatment of drinking water for domestic and industrial installations.

Through the automatic and proportional dosing of the ready-made Poliphos charge, an anti-limescale and anti-corrosion product, the Dosaplus proportional dosers release polyphosphates that prevent the deposit of calcium and magnesium carbonate, forming a protective anti-scaling film around them.

Effectiveness

Protection of systems and distribution circuits from limescale build-up and corrosion by dosing the water with a specially formulated salt (POLIPHOS polyphosphate) that progressively removes limescale build-up and corrosion already underway.

Installation

To prevent the dosing nozzle from clogging, it is advisable to protect the device with a suitable filter installed upstream of the system.

  • Close the circuit inlet valve.
  • Install a non-return valve between the boiler or water heater, if they do not have one, and the dispenser.
  • Unscrew the fitting from the head and insert it into the supply pipe, orienting it as needed (horizontal, vertical) observing the direction of the arrow printed on the fitting itself.
  • Reconnect the head to the fitting, making sure that the sealing O-rings are in the correct position.
  • Slowly open the "Flux-stop" valve by turning it two turns counterclockwise (but not fully). The Flux-stop valve should be adjusted so that the charge lasts 2-3 months. In case of excessive consumption, close the valve slightly.

Performance

Improved thermal efficiency of systems. Reduced energy costs and low operating costs.

Maintenance

The dispenser requires routine maintenance to ensure its correct functioning and the potability requirements of the drinking water.

Weekly/monthly maintenance should be performed by inserting the new charge

The weekly or monthly frequency varies depending on water consumption. To determine when it's time to replace the polyphosphates, check the level in the glass. If the level is low, replace the cartridge with a new one.

  • Close the "Flux-stop" tap by turning it clockwise.
  • Release the pressure by loosening the screw on the head. Unscrew the ring nut/cup with the appropriate wrench.
  • Remove the residual charge, carefully wash the glass, the O-ring and the bellows without removing it from its seat; insert the new charge.
  • Screw on the ring/glass and tighten the vent screw.
  • Slowly reopen the "Flux-stop"* tap counterclockwise, turning it two turns (not all the way).

*The Flux-stop valve opening should be adjusted so that the charge lasts 2-3 months. In case of excessive consumption, close the valve slightly.

Non-toxic materials

Suitable for contact with water intended for human consumption (DM 174 of 06/04/2004).

Warnings

The treated water can be heated up to 75°C - 80°C, beyond this temperature the polyphosphate gradually loses its effectiveness.

If not used for a long time (more than 15 days), remove the polyphosphate filler and replace it with a new one. After maintenance, let the water flow for at least 5 minutes before using it again.
